Mini PC Launch
The mini PC maker Minix is adding two new systems to its range of products. These new devices carry the model numbers EU715-AI and EU512-AI, and they are equipped with two different Intel processors.
To be more exact, these computers are powered by the Core Ultra 5 125H and Core Ultra 7 155H. Both chipsets have an integrated graphics card as well as an NPU. At the brand’s official online shop, the new devices are priced at $749 and $999, respectively.
The Minix Elite EU715-AI is further equipped with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. This solid-state drive occupies one of the two M.2 2280 slots, both are connected via four PCIe 4.0 lanes. The mini PCs can also be used with multiple monitors thanks to HDMI, DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. The DisplayPort 1.4 can even drive one 4K monitor with up to 144Hz, while the other ports are limited to 120Hz.
In terms of network connectivity, mini PC users can utilize two Ethernet ports with 2.5Gbit/s or WiFi 6E. Both options require corresponding network devices, such as a modern WiFi router. Last but not least, these new Minix Elite PCs measures around 5.5 x 5.5 x 1.5 inches and have an active cooling system. Both are powered via USB Type-C with up to 100 watts.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
